Hysteria is a neurological malfunctioning causing immense anxiety. It is but natural that a patient who gets hysterics; becomes irrational in behavior. This malady causes a person to loose emotional balance and a person who suffers from hysterics becomes unkept and suffers from a lack of libido aswell; this ailment has a lot to do with the genes also. Though, hysteria transpires amongst both genders without disdain; however hysteria in women is more common. The symptoms of hysteria include heavy breathing, grinding of teeth, tensed up muscles and inflammation of the veins of the neck. A person suffering from this ailment is prone to sudden laughter without reason and crying also.
This ailment is treatable and can be taken in the confines of one’s home without an iota of worry-
- Pure honey (I tsp) everyday is very good in curing sudden bouts of this malady.
- 1 gm of asafetida should be included in the staple diet of a person and if the person in question finds the taste repulsive; then as an alternative it can be smelt.
- Drink milk everyday with powdered rauwolfia root (twice) and continue to do so till you do not see any benefits.
- Fresh paste of bottle gourd; if applied on the forehead early in the mornings is said to cure hysteria in women.
- A monthly treatment for hysterics is the imbibing of lettuce juice with a wee bit of Indian gooseberry juice mixed in it. However, it should be done on a religious basis on an empty stomach every morning.
- Regular sleeping pattern (8 hrs) has proved very beneficial in curing hysteria in women.
- Hysterics can be cured by regular exercise in both genders.
- PiperLongum (Pipal) is said to very benefial in curing this ailment.
- A herb known as picrorhiza promotes the secretion of bile; hence it is considered very good in curing ailments like hysteria and epilepsy.
- The imbibing of turmeric powder in milk is known to cure this ailment; along with symptoms of convulsions.
- A person suffering from this ailment should make certain that his/her diet is regular and healthy. A lot of fresh fruits like Papaya grapes, oranges, apples and other seasonal fruits should be consumed at-least for a month; along with milk and its products.
