When you plan for a baby you need to be ready mentally, physically and financially to welcome a new member in your family. You and your partner should be ready mentally for all types of situations that may arise during and after pregnancy. Generally, every couple wishes a baby within a year or after few year of their marriage as the family seems to be incomplete without a child. 

During pregnancy period woman has to face complete changes in her lifestyle from eating to dressing. She has to get ready for drastically change in her physical outlook.


Change in Lifestyle during Pregnancy

Pregnancy is very complicated period in woman’s life. With start of pregnancy, she should accept end of her freedom she was enjoying before pregnancy. Now she has to look after her baby in womb. She should understand that she is not alone and therefore cannot behave like a single person. She should control her diet habits, drinking or smoking habits if any.

In initial stages of pregnancy, many women feel like vomiting, stress, mood swing and weakness, etc. Many women feel depression during this period. In such case, they do not like any activities or do anything or go anywhere.

As a pregnant woman, you need to get ready for facing complete change in your lifestyle. If you want to become responsible mother, you should get ready to accept many compromises regarding your freedom and other liking activities during and after pregnancy. At the time of pregnancy, you cannot move easily as it is not advisable for your health. You can also not attend gym, club or traveling or other activities after second trimester.

Change in Relationship with Partner

Many women think that pregnancy affects their life and relationship with their partner. They found that their life become less romantic during pregnancy. 

Sometimes doctor give advice to restrict or avoid sex during pregnancy due to health problem or any other reason which affects pregnancy. Therefore, women found distance with their partner mentally.

Actually, when you plan for a baby, it is responsibility of mother and father both to care for their baby. Mostly in all cases father is equally excited as mother for his baby and he take more care of his partner. Certainly you both cannot  enjoy your life as before pregnancy, but you can enjoy the experience of the most important period of your life. If you are not getting support from your partner during your pregnancy period, you need to explain to him patiently regarding his responsibility as a husband and father. You can take him to some good friends or relatives who can realize him regarding his responsibilities.

You should keep trust in you and your partner and not get depressed by thinking anything wrong about your relationship due to pregnancy. Some women think that their husband may not look at them due to increase in weight. 

You just think that when your baby comes in this world, she or he brings all the happiness in life and you both just forget everything at that time.

Pregnancy Affects Career of Working Women

Pregnancy can cause radical changes in lifestyle of working women. Sometimes it is very critical period for career oriented women when doctor give them advice to complete bed rest during pregnancy. In such case they don’t have choice unless sacrifices career. It will not happen with all pregnant women, it will happen only if you have any complication in pregnancy or due to age problem or frequent miscarriages; in any case doctor may suggest taking a rest and not allow to work or even drive any vehicles. Many women get depress when they have to leave career in peak stage due to pregnancy, while some women can continue their work even up to eight months of their pregnancy.

Change in Diet Habits during Pregnancy

One major thing that women have to change during pregnancy is diet habits. 

She needs to control her diet habits totally if she becomes used to eat more in hotel or restaurants or habituated with fast food. During pregnancy she needs to avoid all such habits as it affects her health and may cause infection problems.

She also needs to avoid drinking, smoking or drug habits if any. Alcohol and smoking is very risky for pregnant women. Therefore, pregnant woman need to keep many restrictions if she becomes habituated with such habits.

Change in Physical Outlook during Pregnancy

You should keep yourself ready for any physical changes that occur in your body during pregnancy. Some women are very conscious about their figure specially working women. During pregnancy many women gain extra weight which affects their figure. This becomes major problems for women after pregnancy to get back in their original shape. Thus, pregnancy changes physical outlook of women. In such case she needs to maintain her figure by doing right type of exercise under guidance of her doctor and make schedule for well-balanced healthy diet.

Remember, pregnancy always increase your obesity. Pregnancy is god’s gift to you and you should not run away from it. You can come back in your original shape soon after birth of your baby with little exercises. Never follow or even think of hard diet during pregnancy. It may harm you and your baby. Eat healthy and stay healthy for healthy pregnancy.

Accept Change in Lifestyle during Pregnancy

Woman has to divert all her attention for proper care of the baby in her womb. 

Now she has to get ready to accept reality that after birth of baby her responsibilities increases. Pregnancy is certainly a wonderful period in women’s life. You should feel proud of yourself for getting pregnant and giving birth to the new life. There are many women in the world who struggle a lot for getting pregnant and could not succeed even after spending lots of money on treatment for getting pregnancy. You should consider it as god’s gift and be grateful that you got chance to give birth to a baby.

Even radical change in your lifestyle, you should enjoy your pregnancy and make all efforts for healthy pregnancy and giving birth to a healthy baby. Your baby will definitely give you lots of happiness that you cannot imagine or feel it unless you see or touch your baby.Lifestyle changes during pregnancy.
